General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
of Renova Reformer GmbH

Valid for course participation and product sales

1. Scope

1.1. These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all services (especially Reformer courses) as well as to the sale of products (e.g. clothing, accessories, beverages) by Renova Reformer GmbH with its registered office at Unterdorfstrasse 35, 9524 Zuzwil, Switzerland.
1.2. By booking a course or purchasing a product, you agree to these GTC.

2. Conclusion of Contract and Cancellation (Courses)

2.1. The contract is concluded upon booking a course – online or on-site – and is binding.
2.2. If the cancellation is made in due time (at least 24 hours before the start of the course), the corresponding credit will be credited to your user account. This can be used for a later booking. Cash payment is excluded.
2.3. In the event of late cancellation or no-show, the credit expires and will not be refunded.
2.4. By signing up for the waiting list, you agree to be automatically moved up as soon as a spot becomes available. In this case, the booking is considered binding, and the regular cancellation conditions according to points 2.2 and 2.3 apply.

3. Health, Liability, and Waiver

3.1. Participation in courses and the use of facilities are at your own risk. By booking, you confirm that you are physically fit to participate in the training.
3.2. In case of health issues or during pregnancy, it is recommended to seek medical advice beforehand.
3.3. Renova Reformer GmbH and its employees are only liable for gross negligence or willful misconduct. Liability for health-related damages is excluded.
3.4. There is no entitlement to specific course times, trainers, or equipment. Changes are reserved.
3.5. In case of a shutdown of training operations due to force majeure (e.g. illness, official orders, natural events), there is no entitlement to compensation beyond a refund or credit.
3.6. You are personally liable for damages caused by you or improper use.
3.7. Waiver
By participating in our courses, you expressly agree to train at your own risk. You waive – as far as legally permissible – any claims for damages against Renova Reformer GmbH, its employees, and trainers, provided there is no gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

4. Payment Terms

4.1. Course fees and product prices are to be paid in full at the time of booking or purchase.
4.2. Without payment, there is no entitlement to participate in courses or to receive products.

5. Studio Rules and Hygiene

5.1. It is mandatory to wear clean, non-slip socks in the training area.
5.2. Eating and glass bottles are not allowed in the training area.
5.3. Please bring only what is necessary. Since there are no lockable lockers or cabinets available, we recommend leaving valuables at home. The studio assumes no liability for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

6. Code of Conduct

6.1. A respectful and attentive treatment of other participants and the staff is mandatory.
6.2. In case of repeated misconduct, access to courses or facilities may be denied.

7. Course Changes and Cancellations

7.1. The studio reserves the right to change or cancel courses at short notice (e.g. due to illness of the course instructor). Already paid amounts will be credited or refunded.
7.2. In case of cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control, there is no entitlement to further compensation.

8. Sales Conditions for Products

8.1. Renova Reformer GmbH sells products such as socks, training accessories, T-shirts, sports pants, and beverages at the studio and online.
8.2. All prices are in CHF incl. legal VAT.
8.3. The purchase contract is concluded by payment at the studio or through a confirmed online order.
8.4. Clothing and accessories can be returned or exchanged within 14 days if unworn, unwashed, and in their original packaging. Returns are free at the studio. For returns by post, the return must be announced in advance via email to team@renovareformer.ch Costs for returns in this case are borne by you.
8.5. Beverages and other sealed or perishable goods are excluded from returns for hygiene reasons as soon as they have been opened.
8.6. Defects or transport damage must be reported within 7 days. We will replace or refund the purchase price.
8.7. Delivery is only within Switzerland. Delivery deadlines are non-binding.
8.8. The delivered goods remain the property of Renova Reformer GmbH until full payment has been made.

9. Memberships & Class Packs

9.1 Memberships – Contract Duration & Termination

9.1.1. All memberships have a minimum duration of 6 months and will automatically renew for another 6 months unless terminated.
9.1.2. The termination must be sent in writing by email at least 30 days before the end of the current 6-month period to team@renovareformer.ch.

9.2 Pausing (“Freeze”) the Membership

It is possible to pause the membership for valid reasons (e.g. illness, injury, travel) only after prior written request and explicit approval by the studio.

• maximum 3 individual pauses

• Total pause time a maximum of 3 weeks (21 days)

• each pause must last at least 5 consecutive days

9.3 Use of the Membership

9.3.1. Memberships are personal and not transferable.
9.3.2. Membership credits are only valid in the respective billing month and are not carried over to the following month.
9.3.3. Classes must be canceled at least 24 hours before the start of the course, otherwise the credit expires.

9.4 Class Packs & Individual Credits

9.4.1. Class packs and individual credits are one-time purchases.
9.4.2. The respective validity period is indicated at the time of purchase and begins with the payment/purchase.
9.4.3. Unused credits expire and cannot be refunded or extended.
9.4.4. Classes must also be canceled at least 24 hours before the start of the course, even with class packs and individual credits. In case of late cancellation or no-show, the corresponding credit expires.

10. Data Protection

10.1. The protection of your personal data is important to us. Information on the collection and processing can be found in our privacy policy at www.renovareformer.ch/datenschutz.

11. Final Provisions

11.1. Only Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is St. Gallen.
11.2. Changes to these GTC as well as price changes will be announced on our website and will take effect from publication.
11.3. Should a single provision of these GTC be ineffective, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision will be replaced by a legally valid one that comes closest to the economic purpose.
